Embassy Visa and Passport Services specializes only in the expediting handling of U.S. Passports and Foreign Travel Visas.  We take pride in making sure our clients board their flights on time, albeit in the eleventh hour!  To avoid problems, it is always best to speak with one of our professional document specialist that can explain with clarity the procedures and requirements of obtaining an expedited U.S. passport.  You should not always rely on content, especially when our government and foreign government are constantly refining their instructions.

There are circumstances beyond our control that can cause a delay in processing, thus creating an unfortunate scenario for travel.  These are examples of what could possible go wrong and cause a delay in the processing:

Incomplete or incorrectly submitted applications;
Delays caused by overnight or same day shipping services, i.e. FEDEX, Express Mail, UPS, Delta Dash...

Delays resulting from the US Department of State or foreign embassy or consulate suspending its processing of your application.

Unexpected holidays celebrated by the many countries represented in Washington, DC. Holidays have caused consulates to temporarily close.
If at any time during the processing of your application problems arise and additional information is needed, we guarantee to notify you immediately to help resolve the problem in a timely fashion.

Here are some examples of circumstances in which applications are suspended.

  • Applicant owes child support in excess of $5000.00

  • Applicant is on probation which restricts international travel

  • Applicant owes the government a repatriation loan (you borrowed money overseas and have not paid it back)

  • Applicant had insufficient funds to cover a check written to the Department of State for a previous passport.

  • Additional documentation is requested by the Department of State. This is an exception to the normal processing of the application and is at the discretion of the passport agency. It is typically requested to further clarify the identity of the applicant.

Embassy Visa and Passport Services is not responsible for any documents inadvertently held or lost by consulates or US Government Agencies. Should this occur, which is highly unlikely, we will work to recover the documents from the agency or consulate.

Embassy Visa’s  total liability with respect to each passport application shall be limited to the amount of the service fee paid by you.
